Congratulations to Robert Greenwald, Cliff Schecter, and everyone else at Brave New Films for the launch of the new blog with its innovative use of video to effect political opinion.  Brave New Films has done great work already by documenting media bias by using viral video projects. This site will make it easier for progressive voices to be heard.

My campaign has embraced the use of internet video to provide all Americans with access to the Dodd campaign, particularly those who don't live in the early primary and caucus states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada. Internet video allows my message to get past the mainstream media filters and the boundaries of distance so everyone can hear me talk about my vision for America.

Every campaign stop is broadcast live through Ustream or posted to YouTube. We also stream live from my campaign headquarters in Washington, DC every day on D-TV, the multi-channel window into the campaign that serves to involve supporters around the country in the political process. We've done live video web chats on FireDogLake, DailyKos, MyDD, and many other blogs around the net. Quite simply, we're offering the most open and expansive Internet video strategy in the presidential race.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how Robert, Cliff and all the contributors to Brave New Films' new site evolve the use of online video to make politics more transparent, make wrong-doers more accountable, and make it easier for Americans to engage in the civic process. Keep up your great work!
