When Pres. George W Bush came out to explain the second veto of his presidency on May 1, I expected all the cable news networks to cover the live news event. I was somewhat surprised, however, to see Fox News drop out of covering the live Democratic response that came just 10 minutes later. I was most surprised to hear Fox News Washington Managing Editor Brit Hume explain candidly on live TV who he was helping with his editorial decision.
