As the fight over funding to close down Gitmo continues, its important to realize that closing this torture camp is only a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to fixing the image of the US and helping to end terrorism. We need to rethink our entire approach to the Middle East, in order to really solve our problems, because its been our own policies that have led to increased acts of terrorism across the globe.
