Gordon Tooley is a man who not only plants trees but is a surgical magigian grafting heirloom fruit trees and helping to keep alive the biodiversity of high altitude fruit trees. Tooley's Trees is located in Truchas, New Mexico.
Its not only a tree nursery, but a well stocked tree bank for the future. A model for others to create similar seed banks and for those who care for the earth. Tooley has grafted some of these hardy, flavor-packed trees from 100-year-old cuttings collected on old homesteads.
