Despite supporters of Camila Hornung and her family holding vigils and sending out letters of support to Florida Governors and Senators to stop their deportation, according to this article, the family boarded a plane back to Peru this afternoon.
A family member who had spoken to Camila's mother said the following:
"She was crying, she just let me know that she was leaving without advice. She's not suppose to speak with us, she had only one minute to speak with us by phone," said the member.
