Republican candidates pledged to crack down on illegal immigration during a debate Sunday before a largely Hispanic audience, but avoided confronting each other over who is tougher on the issue.

Oprah Headlines Massive Rallies For Obama.   Talk show host Oprah Winfrey's campaign appearances with Barack Obama are sparking extensive, and largely positive, media coverage this morning. Winfrey's appearances yesterday morning in South Carolina and last night in New Hampshire follow up on a day of campaigning on Iowa on Saturday.
